Hawks- Next year we will introduce a brand-new AICE course: Media Studies.
This class offers a deep dive into how media shapes our world : from film and television to social media and digital storytelling. Students will learn to analyze, create, and think critically about the content they consume every day.
Even more exciting, the course is taught by our very own teacher Mr. Colebunders who has over 30 years of experience as a producer and director. With his history of award-winning work in TV and media, students will get firsthand insight into the industry.
This is your class if your interest in storytelling, film, or digital media goes beyond just watching.

Scholarship and Awards Night: This event will take place on Monday, May 4 at 6:00 PM in the LMHS Auditorium. Invitations were sent on Monday, 4/20. Parents are welcome to attend, and seating will be first-come, first-served.
Cords: Cords were ordered last week, and should arrive next week. Please see your sponsor, teacher, or coach for distribution information.
Senior Sunrise: Senior Sunrise will be held on Friday, May 8 from 6:00–9:30 PM on the LMHS campus. This event is free and open to all graduates. There will be food, games, prizes, a movie, and more. Come celebrate with your classmates as the sun sets on your high school journey.
Graduation Rehearsal: Rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, May 13, beginning at 7:45 AM. We will start with the class photo, so please arrive in full graduation attire, including all regalia. You will have an opportunity to change before rehearsal begins. Rehearsal will last until approximately 12:00 PM, and attendance for the entire time is required. Following rehearsal, there will be a free BBQ at the baseball/softball concessions.
Cap and Gown: If you missed distribution, you may pick up your cap and gown in the front office. If any items (cap, gown, tassel, or medallion) are lost, you must contact the vendor to purchase replacements. If you have not yet ordered, you may still do so; however, your order will not arrive until rehearsal.
